Bookstores abound with colorful kids’ Bibles with cartoonish illustrations, but how do we disciple our children when they outgrow these offerings? Catherine Parks, editor at Moody and author of Empowered and Strong, now offers middle school kids a Bible study that guides them toward a richer understanding of their identity in Christ and teaches how to study the Bible in the process. What to Wear is a wonderful option for kids who’re too grown up for storybook Bibles, but not yet ready for adult studies.
My review of the book appears on Story Warren today:
Thank you, Katie, for this detailed review. I’ve saved it in my Grandparenting ideas file, ready for when we approach the Tweens. 🙂
